Shipping Guides aim is to provide a single source of information about the world's ports for a large range of different types of shipping. They produce a range of guides and other information available throughout their website.

Following an in-depth analysis of their business processes, Big Orange Software worked with Shipping Guides and the project management team at Averma Consulting to come up with an innovative publishing system for their internal systems, in line with their overall content strategy. This made sure that all information could be created and edited before being pushed into an internal review process, then moved into a publishing process, where content was transferred to a live environment. Allowing revisions to be made at key stages made sure that the correct information was being published at the right time, allowing no room for error.
